It’s fall ya’ll! That means your tastebuds need cozy things in their lives! These Carrot Cake Bars are jam packed with protein, relatively low in sugar, and they’re especially great as lactation treats for nursing momma’s! The whole family will love them, and they will compliment your pumpkin spice latte or hot apple cider perfectly!

These babies have eggs, oats, flax seeds, and the optional protein powder add in. All this protein makes them insanely filling and they’ll keep you and your littles full for hours!

These same ingredients also greatly promote an increase in milk supply for the lactating mommas! Even more-so if you add the optional brewers yeast.

Oats also have A LOT of folic acid in them! Folic acid is a vitamin that is critical for healthy brain development in babies and children. And when a nursing momma increases the folic acid in her diet, it will also increase the folic acid in her breastmilk! So eating lots of organic oats when you’re pregnant and nursing can and will be really good for your babies brain! And feeding toddlers and small children oats can help their brains to continue developing well also!
